Satisfy

About us

We started this because there's a gap between a dispute too big to absorb and one big enough for a lawyer to take.

What is a consumer advocate, exactly?

Several people will offer to help with a dispute. Only one of them is paid by you.

  • Not the warranty desk

A warranty administrator is paid by the contractor whose work is in dispute. Useful, and not on your side by design.

  • Not an industry scheme

An arbitration scheme is funded by the industry it arbitrates, and answers to its members collectively.

  • Not a review site

A review site is paid by advertisers, which can include the business you are trying to hold to account.

  • Engaged by you

You engage us, and we answer to you. Nobody else pays us anything in either direction.

Why we exist

The gap we work in

A $12,000 roof that leaks is a serious amount of money to a household and a rounding error to a contingency-fee attorney. Small claims court caps out below it in most states. So people write it off, and businesses learn that they can let them.

Satisfy exists for that band. We handle the pursuit: the correspondence, the escalation, the persistence, so it isn’t on you to do it in the evenings after work.

Whose side we're on

We’re paid by you. That’s the whole design, and it’s why the cost structure matters more than any promise we could make about our intentions.

And what we're not

Satisfy is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. When a situation genuinely needs an attorney, saying so is part of the job rather than a failure of it.
