Two ways to see what a dispute is really costing you, before you decide what to do about it.

What do you do with the number?

A figure you worked out yourself is what turns a bad feeling into a decision.

  • Compare every route

Walking away, hiring an attorney, or bringing us in, side by side on your own figures rather than on a claim we make.

  • Price your own time

Pursuing a dispute properly is a second job. The estimator adds up the hours that job actually takes.

  • Know when to stop

Some disputes are not worth chasing, and the arithmetic says so plainly. That is a useful answer too.

  • Nothing leaves your browser

The calculators run where you are. Using one starts nothing and sends us nothing.

Before you type a number in

Is the result a quote?

No. It is arithmetic on the figures you type, so it is only as good as those are. What we would actually pursue depends on what happened and what you can show.

My dispute isn't a contractor job. Do these still work?

Yes, for anything with a number attached: a refused insurance payout, a wedding vendor who did not deliver, a repair that made things worse. The arithmetic is about the size of the loss, not the trade.

What if I don't know what I'm owed?

Put in your best estimate: what you paid, what it will cost to put right, or the gap between an offer and what the thing was worth. The comparison holds its shape as the number moves, so you can try a range.

Why compare against hiring an attorney?

Because that is the alternative most people weigh, and for a mid-sized dispute the arithmetic usually decides it. You put in what an attorney would cost you by the hour, because contingency firms usually turn down disputes this size, and the comparison takes that off what you get back.

Do I need documents to use these?

No. Type your best estimate. Contracts, invoices and photographs matter when an advocacy file is opened, not when you are working out whether to open one.

After the arithmetic

When the number says it is worth pursuing

What follows a figure is a documented claim, an escalation path, and somebody making the calls. Tell us what happened and we will tell you where you stand.
