What to gather

Most decisive first. Gather these before you contact anyone.

  • The signed contract and the equipment specified
  • The load calculation, or written confirmation that none was performed
  • The model and serial numbers of what was installed
  • Manufacturer warranty registration and any refusal, in writing
  • Every service ticket since installation
  • Permits and inspection results
