Most decisive first. Gather these before you contact anyone.
- The signed contract and every estimate, including superseded ones
- All change orders, and a note of any change nobody documented
- The manufacturer's warranty registration and the contractor's own workmanship warranty
- Attic photographs during rain, dated
- An independent roofer's written inspection
- The permit and any inspection results from your building department
